Overview

Responsible for providing operational leadership and direction for clinical and administrative functions of reporting hospital inpatient departments in Wisconsin and Illinois. This includes but is not limited to, comprehensive service line planning and program development that grows and advances the heart and vascular procedural areas and services lines, as well as patient care across the continuum of care. Direct reporting inpatient departments include: Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) and the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at MHTC in Janesville and Cardiovascular Intervention (CVI-cath lab and interventional radiology), cardiac pre and post care (PPC), and the Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU).In addition to operational accountabilities above, ensure system level program development, including collaboration with supporting departments and ambulatory clinics to align standards/practices/policies, strategic planning, and development.Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with leaders and physicians within Mercyhealth to design, implement, and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures that ensure the clinical team achieves clinical goals and performance metrics.Develop and use effective strategies and interpersonal styles to influence and guide others toward the accomplishment of identified objectives and goals. Communicate openly and directly about opportunities for improvement and performance matters, providing necessary focus, guidance, mentoring, and direction for direct reporting areas. Establish measurable and achievable expectations regarding results.Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise in coordinating and directing all aspects of cardiac and vascular procedural services within Mercyhealth.Deliver on goals; achieve results. Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing. Master of Science in Nursing preferred. If the individual has a BSN, they may have a Master's in another related field.Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible hospital nursing leadership experience.CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

Licensed as an RN in state(s) of practice.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
