Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC), the largest healthcare provider in northwest Arizona, is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Revenue Integrity. This is a critical leadership role within our Finance department, responsible for ensuring the integrity and optimization of our revenue cycle.

Purpose:

As the Director of Revenue Integrity, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the revenue integrity functions across the hospital and our physician clinic services. This includes charge description master integrity, patient account charge audits, regulatory audits and appeals, underpayment recovery, and denials management. You will serve as a key liaison between the Finance department, Information Systems, and Clinical Operations, ensuring that our clinical and financial systems align with our revenue cycle management, long-term financial strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the coordination and execution of revenue integrity functions, including employee education and training on financial systems related to clinical service information systems.

Manage charge master administration and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for revenue cycle system service charges.

Conduct revenue-cycle related audits, analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Review, analyze, and evaluate revenue systems and user needs to ensure effective and efficient revenue cycle processes.

Collaborate with Financial and IT departments to address open system projects and issues.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of charge master updates, working with department directors to develop and implement new charges or systems to monitor lost charges.

Create and maintain financial reports and queries, communicating findings to relevant departments for review and action.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues that impact data integrity, working across departments to identify and address problems.

Develop and implement policy and procedure documentation for financial system users.

Train users on financial applications, including assessing training needs, developing materials, and delivering training sessions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field

or

five (5) years of experience in a healthcare finance department with revenue cycle management.

Experience: Proven experience in supporting financial software systems and applications. Direct experience in healthcare, with responsibilities that include analyzing charge description master issues and experience in accounts receivable management, including billing, collections, reimbursement, and denials management at a supervisory level.

Work Requirements:

Ability to sit for six (6) to seven (7) hours daily at a computer terminal and utilize software applications; occasionally lifts and carries 11 to 25 pounds; provide customer service excellence.
