The Security Site Lead oversees a location’s security staff. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The Site Lead will report directly to the Security Field Supervisor. Their responsibilities include supervising the team, coordinating personnel, and monitoring equipment. They are ultimately responsible for resolving incidents and implementing preventative measures to protect the organization from theft and maintain order.

Salary for this role is $25.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

Supervision

Supervise and oversee the daily activities of security officers on-site, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and performance standards.

Provide clear and effective direction to security personnel, fostering a cohesive and motivated team environment.

Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with security staff to communicate expectations, updates, and feedback.

Ensure all security operations at site are executed efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of safety and security.

Assist in the training and onboarding of new security officers, ensuring both new and existing security officers are well-versed in site-specific protocols and procedures.

Conduct checks on Security Camera Systems and security equipment to ensure that the assigned location’s equipment is fully functional.

Review and report activity from the review of Daily Activity Reports per SOP.

Perform routine inspections of personnel to identify and address potential violations of CleanSpark SOP and Post Orders.

Coordinate and manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and effective deployment of security personnel.

Cover Security staff openings as needed.

Check and complete incident reports and submit them to the appropriate personnel per SOP.

Access Control

Monitor and control access to CleanSpark facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.

Conduct thorough checks of identification and credentials at entry points.

Ensure Envoy is up to date and used for all visitors.

Surveillance

Use surveillance equipment to monitor and assess activities within and around the premises.

Report and document any suspicious behavior or incidents promptly on the Daily Activity Report.

Patrol and Inspection

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to detect and deter security threats.

Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential security risks.

Emergency Response

Respond to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents in a prompt and effective manner.

Work closely with emergency services when necessary and follow established protocols for various scenarios.

Customer Service

Provide courteous and professional assistance to everyone.

Address inquiries and provide directions when needed.

Report Writing

Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security-related activities.

Complete incident reports and submit them to the appropriate personnel.

Complete reviews of all incident reports written to ensure details that are needed are in the reports.

Collaboration

Collaborate with other security personnel and relevant departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security program.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding security concerns.

Qualifications

2 years of Management/Leadership experience in Security, Law enforcement, or military.

4 years of Security experience, Law enforcement experience, or military experience.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or related fields is a plus.

Proven experience as a security guard or in a related role.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills for logging and reporting purposes.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, run and perform security duties for extended periods.

Additional Requirements

Valid State Security Guard License (where applicable).

Valid State Driver's License.

Honorable discharge from military service preferred.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to pass a Nationwide Background Check.
