Overview
The Cary development center has 60+ challenging Java and UI orientated roles. Server-side apps seek strong core Java with Spring and micro-services a plus. Full stack apps seek React or Angular with UX and micro frontends a plus. Kotlin and Scala roles are also available for those taking their Java Virtual Machine (JVM) skills to the next level. Engineers focusing on robust software development using CI/CD pipelines and behavior driven development (BDD) / test driven development (TDD) are especially welcome.
We offer unbounded technical growth with 65 teams in the center solving a large variety of business and technical problems using on premise Kubernetes and Google (GCP) cloud infrastructure, if you have proven experience in some of these and are excited to learn others, we will offer further training.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Leverage the right design patterns, algorithms, and Java frameworks to develop scalable, robust applications of which you are proud
Work within an agile development lifecycle focusing on business outcomes
Build automation to support a continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipeline to production
Contribute to the wider engineering community sharing designs, ideas, and experience of Java frameworks
Your Skills and Experience:
Strong, demonstratable development experience in Java and/or other Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages
Spring (especially Spring Boot) and REST experience preferable. Micro-service or micro front end experience preferable
React/Angular or another JavaScript framework preferable. TDD and BDD experience preferable
Experience with CI/CD frameworks (such as Jenkins) and build tools (gradle, maven) preferable
Containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud experience (GCP) preferable. Kotlin, Scala experience optional

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
