Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).Job OverviewThis position is for IoT Connectivity Test group for Qualcomm Connectivity Group.Candidate will be actively involved in Automation and Testing of Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) chipsets.The role involves automating features and testing RFID Qualcomm chipset.The candidate will get exposure to RFID/BT/WLAN/Coex modules of Qualcomm connectivity solution.The candidate will work on futuristic products for IoT segment such as Wearables/Industrial IoT.Candidate will be actively involved in supporting the existing automation framework through feature additions, enhancements, and maintenance.The candidate will closely work with Development team and cross-functional teams to deliver quality deliverables which go to customers following well-established QA processes.Skills/Experience: 3-5 yearsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science.Tests Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) in UHF band software to ensure proper functioning.Understanding RFID Protocol: EPC Radio-Frequency Identity Protocols Generation-2 UHF RFID.Understanding RFID Interrogator-to-Tag and Tag-to-Interrogator operation.Understanding RFID Interrogators manage Tag populations – Select, Inventory, Access.Performs acceptance testing.Verify compliance of developed applications with architectural standards and established practices.Should have good analytical skill to root cause the problem and debug the same.Minimum 1 year plus hands-on experience in test automation.Hands-on experience in P4V, Visual Studio & .NET Technology.Strong C# & Python programming experience.Pro-active, accountable, and focused; with the ability to take ownership of project requirements without constant supervision.Must possess strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
