Capital Markets Summer Analyst

Job Description:Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Capital Markets Summer Analyst for Summer 2025 in Minneapolis! This role will support analysis of Ryan-owned and developed projects and the underwriting and analysis of potential acquisitions. It will also assist in managing the asset needs from inception to final disposition and acquisitions.Job Responsibilities:Interpret and apply information in loan and sale documents and lease agreementsModel real estate development and acquisition cash flows using Excel and ArgusEvaluate and reforecast project cash flows for Ryan FundsPresent a short investment thesis on future trends/new frontiers to the CM teamParticipate in equity and debt raises through financial analysis and offering memorandum creationManage broker interactions and relationshipsSupport targeted marketing of investment properties for saleGeneral support of departmental needsMinimum Qualifications:Within 18 months of graduationPursuing a bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or related fieldsAble to work up to 40 hours a week for at least a three-month termHave strong working knowledge of Argus and Excel, including the ability to model complex financial structuresAble to work both independently and on a team and develop strong relationshipsAn excellent written and verbal communicatorPreferred Qualifications:Extremely well-organized and can communicate clearlyDemonstrate entry-level presentation skill setDisplay relationship building skill setHave previous related internship experience (i.e. real estate and/or underwriting experience)Eligibility:Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Compensation:The hourly wage is $20-$25/hour.
