The MGEX Regulatory Department is looking for a
Financial Surveillance Lead . The Financial Surveillance Lead position is responsible for protecting the integrity of MGEX futures and options markets by monitoring financial activity for compliance with MGEX and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) rules. There will be interaction with other commodity markets and regulatory bodies, as well as with market participants.
Main responsibilities include:
Monitor the financial health of MGEX market participants.
Analysis of daily financial reports and notices.
Financial statement analysis (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements).
Collect and ensure timely submission of statements.
Evaluate market risk exposures of market participants.
Assist in onboarding new market participants, including by review of required financial statements.
Organizational Structure:
The Financial Surveillance Lead will be an integral part of the regulatory department of MGEX and report to the Chief Regulatory Officer.

Exceptional analytical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, accounting or similar field, or equivalent.
Exposure to commodities markets.
