If you answered yes to these questions, we see a mutually beneficial and gratifying relationship on the horizon!Position SummaryThe Audit Director will play an integral leadership role within the Not-For-Profit Audit practice and will oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements including supervising audits and managing project budgets requiring excellent project management skills. In addition, the Audit Director will work closely with leaders across the organization to advise clients on various matters impacting their businesses. This includes the ability to build & maintain strong client relationships along with identifying business opportunities with new or existing clients. Lastly, the Audit Director will play a key role in developing team members through coaching & mentorship opportunities, conduct performance reviews providing insightful feedback for all levels of staff, & contribute to various people initiatives such as recruiting, retaining, & training professionals of all levels.What will you do in this role?Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements, including supervising audits through their various stages while ensuring projects stay within budget.Consult with partners & clients on various audit matters related to Not-For-Profit organizations and provide strategic recommendations based on client's needs.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client sponsors and growing client bases.Assist partners and senior leaders with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships.Understand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients with our comprehensive solutions.Provide thought leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues impacting Not-For-Profit organizations by leveraging expertise and experience.Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff.Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training our team of up-and-coming professionals.Ensure professional development through ongoing education.What do you need to succeed in this role?BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.10+ years’ of progressive public accounting experience.5+ years' experience leading high performing teams, coaching & mentoring staff.Experience supporting audit clients in the Not-For-Profit sector required.Extensive knowledge of Yellowbook & Single Audit Guidance highly desired.CPA License required.Proficiency with audit software platforms & Microsoft Office.Exceptional client rapport & project management skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, & interactive environment.Proven leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Be a champion of our organization & provide strategic growth direction.About SikichSikich is a global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services.
