11412Data Manager (Architect), Washington, DC/RemoteOur client, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a Mid-Level Data Manager (Architect) for a contract to hire opportunity.DescriptionIn this role, you will help to establish their customer's data governance program and develop a data strategy for all data management functions. You will also identify and document existing data architecture, develop data requirements, and build data models.ResponsibilitiesWork with stakeholders to identify and document existing data architecture specifications.Create formal data governance policies and programs.Develop proposals and strategies for solving data management problems with an enterprise approach.Gather and analyze data requirements.Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models.Prepare and present client-facing deliverables.RequirementsBS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.Expertise in enterprise data management including data discovery, integration, and governance.Expertise in data architecture and design for both structured and unstructured data.Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) to a wide range of audiences.Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including business leads, vendors, technical staff, and project managers.Experience in tools and approaches used in data discovery and data profiling.Familiarity with one major cloud-based data platform (AWS, Azure, or GC).Please NoteOnly those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.No calls, inquiries, or Third Party Vendors please.We are an equal opportunity employer.
