We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:In this position, you will have the opportunity to:Convert customer requirements, including informal requirements, into total systems solutions that fit within the technical, schedule, and cost constraints of the programOperate in an agile development environment using DevSecOps and CI/CD practicesConduct and participate in design reviews, sprint demonstrations, and after-action reviewsDevelop scalable web-based data visualization and analytic platforms using Node.js, JavaScript, scalable databases (Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL), Docker, PythonWrite, review, and execute comprehensive test proceduresDeploy applications into development/staging/production environmentsPeer-review and comment on software code and write/review/update software design and user-focused documentation (e.g., User Manuals)What Required Skills You'll Bring:B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and demonstrable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.)Minimum 5 years software engineering experienceExperience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practicesExperience working with the Big Data Platform (BDP)Experience developing in a Linux environment (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)Experience using scripting languages such as bash and shExperience with agile project management using tools such as Jira and Confluence and configuration management tools such as GitlabExperience with container-based systems such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with Node.js and JavaScript (TypeScript)Experience developing in Python and GoExperience with YAML and JSON formatsExcellent testing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA Secret level security clearance is required and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. CitizenWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Enlighten-provided training for BDP, either provided directly through them (i.e., Intel Analyst or Cyber Analyst) or via DoD-coordinated coursesSAFe Agile training such as Agile Software Engineer, SAFe for Teams, or SAFe for GovernmentExperience with automation languages such as Puppet, Ansible, and TerraformExperience with data parsers and data ingest methodologiesKnowledge of analyticsExperience with RESTful web services and designing enterprise APIs (desired)Web development experience with a focus on UI/UXAI/ML experienceMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
