Cloud Engineer III
to join our Cloud team as we build a Platform Engineering practice from the ground up.In This Role You Will:Design and implement cost-effective solutions to support our growing Platform Engineering practiceSupport efforts to migrate, improve and maintain legacy systemsContribute to building and refining our team standards and processesParticipate in our on-call schedule to ensure system uptimeMentor other team members on relevant technologies and best practicesTroubleshoot a wide variety of complex issuesEffectively communicate with other teams to support innovationWrite Terraform modules to support safe and rapid developer innovationCore Competencies for Success:An in-depth knowledge of TerraformBackground in software engineering with PythonWorked with configuration management (Puppet preferred) to manage a large fleet of virtual machinesCredentials and Experience:4+ years of Linux system administration
Distinguished experience with distributed systems and knowledgeable on clustering principles
2+ years of DevOps experience
AWS or relevant cloud provider
