As our Senior Data Scientist, you will help build predictive models and analytic solutions for business end users to help them make more efficient decisions in their day-to-day work. Every day you will collaborate with product and operational leaders, build high-end analytic models, and create informative visualizations for our GenAI focused projects. To thrive in this role, you must have strong critical thinking capabilities with a background in building solutions to important challenges with healthcare data.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Senior Data Scientist:Collaborates with IT to prepare and manipulate structured and unstructured data for data discovery and mining from multiple disparate sources.Builds high-end analytic models, like utilizing LLMs, to support users with data-driven insights that address immediate business problems and objectives.Creates informative visualizations that intuitively display large amounts of data and/or complex relationships; translates data analytics into coherent reports and presentations for internal and external customers with varying degrees of technical knowledge.Has a background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, optimization, or advanced statistics.Routinely uses anonymized or encrypted data.Prototypes solutions using varied resources, including both commercial and open-source software.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will have:Master’s degree (or equivalent training/relevant experience) in fields that include strong coverage of applied mathematics and statistics, computer science, engineering, or related fields.5+ years' experience working as a Data Scientist.2+ years' experience with healthcare data; structured and unstructured (claims data is a plus).Experience using Python to program machine learning models and write production-ready code.Experience deploying models and reports into cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).Ability to lead projects and collaborate with stakeholders to understand the requirements and independently build end-to-end solutions; mentoring less experienced Data Scientists.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $92,143.00 - $148,792.00 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
