Hiring for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in the Chicago area!
Job Description
Day to day:Project is focused within heater and motor control – improving algorithms & adding new features in C/ QP.Very complex embedded system, still in NPD.Main focus is within QP – this is their new platform going forward.Event process bubble state machines – based off of C code.Collaboratively works with electrical hardware engineering to design software to requirements and utilizes change management and code design reviews to ensure the product is robust.Creates test plans to thoroughly test the software for verification and validation activities.Partners with other engineering teams to create test instructions, orchestrate new product development activities, coordination of agency compliance and production release.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must Haves:Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (strongly preferred, would consider CE).10+ years’ experience.Embedded C.Motor control experience (stepper motors, motor theory, etc.).
