Hospital:
12-hour varied shifts, with holiday and on-call requirements as neededImaging Center:
10-hour day shifts, no holidays, no on-call
Start Date:
ASAP (onboarding process takes approximately 5-8 weeks)
Compensation:
Base Hourly Pay:
Minimum of $34.96 per hour, based on years of experienceSign-On Bonus:
Two-year completion bonus incentive

COVID vaccination or a medical/religious exemption is required
Job Responsibilities:
As an Ultrasound Tech, your primary responsibilities will include:
Performing procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Utilizing independent judgment and applying learned methodologies according to established policies and procedures.Educating patients and their families regarding the procedures and/or treatments to be performed. Demonstrating professional behavior and conduct in all interactions, fostering teamwork, efficient use of resources, and quality patient outcomes.Producing high-quality images and preparing/presenting them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation is prepared and maintained.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience.Licensure:
Must hold or be able to obtain an Alaska state license prior to starting.Certification:
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
