Founded in 1975, CAA is headquartered in Los Angeles, and has offices in New York, Nashville, Memphis, Chicago, Miami, London, Munich, Geneva, Stockholm, Shanghai, and Beijing, among other locations globally.The RoleCAA seeks a leader for our finance application engineering department to define, oversee and contribute to building our new, and improving existing platforms and systems for our internal and client-oriented systems – including banking, Finance & Operations, and trust accounting.ResponsibilitiesOptimized utilization of our development teams in support of key priorities and initiatives.Collaboration with tech and business partners to inform the ideal investments of time, budget and resources.Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and development for a growing team.Understanding, supporting and advocating for CAA’s efforts and initiatives.Flexibility in work hours to support collaboration with teams and stakeholders across US, UK, EMEA, APAC.Strong ability to sort through ambiguous, limited and conflicting information to drive insights into actions while sorting through data.Qualifications10 years of professional experience leading a software development team.Subject matter expertise in ERP Systems. Demonstrated project ownership in International ERP integration, customizations and operations (Dynamics 365, Oracle, Sage, SAP).BS/MS in Computer science or a related degree.MBA with Finance and Accounting focus a strong plus.Subject matter expertise in modern technologies for web application development.Subject matter expertise in ERP development and Object Oriented programming languages such as C#, Java. Dynamics 365 and X++ experience preferred.Strong understanding of key software engineering principles and trends in an Agile environment including practice in a Scaled Agile, Scrum/Kanban development organization.Subject matter expertise in one or more key business segments including MP/TV, touring/live events, commercial endorsements and/or sports representation, trust accounting is a strong plus.Experienced with managing blended teams and hybrid/remote workers to influence ensuring delivery quality. Provide practical hands-on mentoring to team members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and quality assurance.Analytical thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into a digital product and to design for complex systems.Ability to manage a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment.Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate vision, creative concepts, and rationale for technology decisions.A positive, hard-working “can-do” attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Desire to be a part of an organization that values teamwork and taking care of each other with pride in one’s work and the work of the team.LocationThis role is hybrid and based in either CAA’s Los Angeles or New York offices; 3 days a week in the office.CompensationThe annual base salary for this position is in the range of $195,000 - $243,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
