Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee our new child care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and leading a team of child care professionals.Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children- Supervise and support child care staff, providing guidance and training as needed- Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or feedback- Manage the budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue generation- Oversee enrollment processes and maintain accurate records of children attending the facilityQualificationsMust be at least 21 years old and meet
one
of the following qualifications:A college or university degree in early childhood education, child development, child psychology or a related field that includes at least 18 credit hours in child development and/or early childhood education;A bachelor’s degree from a college or university in any subject area and six months experience working with children in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility;An associate’s degree from a college or university in early childhood education, child development and/or child psychology or a related field that includes at least 18 credit hours in child development and/or early childhood education with six months work experience in a licensed approved or registered child care facility;A diploma in child development/early childhood education from an institution of higher learning or a child development associate (CDA) credential, and one year work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility;A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate with at least one year of work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility.Must be able to pass a background check.Work Hours:8:30-5:30 M-FPlease include three letters of reference with your resume.Job Type:
