Come join the team that makes this happen.Applicants MUST apply for position(s) by submitting a separate application for each individual job posting number they are interested in being considered for.FTE1Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours80Work ShiftDay: 8 hoursJob DescriptionJob ResponsibilitiesIdeal candidate will have demonstrated ability to:Negotiate complex legal terms and act as point of contact for all types of contracts, including review and drafting of physician agreements, services agreements, and IT agreements.Independently cultivate and maintain relationships with business owners, recommend contract development strategies, and facilitate resolution of complex contract issues.Communicate with executives, managers, and other stakeholders; obtain feedback and approvals throughout the contract negotiation process to ensure the final contract supports financial, operational, and strategic goals.Ensure contractual arrangements meet legal and regulatory requirements and obtain counsel approval as needed.Manage processes that provide timely notification of critical contract events (e.g., renewals, termination, and due dates contained within the agreements).Develop and maintain a clause library and contract playbook and ensure contract templates are kept current.Evaluate opportunities and implement improvement to contract templates, language, and processes.Ensure accurate data entry of contract specifications and terms into contract management database and completion of all contracting processes.Identify opportunities to improve processes, share best practices, and improve efficiency with organizational workflows, processes, structure, systems, and technologies.Promote best practices for knowledge management and tracking regulatory developments.Maintain excellent contract negotiation skills.Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with all internal and external stakeholders.Maintain strong organization and analytical skills.Supervise contracting process and contracting staff, as needed.Assist with all contracting administration and projects, as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of relevant contract negotiation and management experience, ideally with ambulatory, clinic, hospital, or health system contracting.Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctor preferred but not required.Strongly prefer knowledge and understanding of healthcare industry, legal and regulatory requirements, including Stark, anti-kickback, and fraud, waste, and abuse laws.Willingness to actively participate and be hands-on in all aspects of the contract negotiation and administration process.Excellent contract negotiation skills.Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High degree of credibility, integrity, and confidentiality.Ability to do legal research and analyze findings.Ability to work independently showing initiative, but also work collaboratively as part of a team.Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and be flexible in a fast-paced and growing organization.Demonstrated strength in computer software and contract management systems.Knowledge and use of Conga contracts management software preferred but not required.Must be able to work at multiple locations in Los Gatos and Mountain View based on business needs.License/Certification/Registration RequirementsNoneSalary Range:$82.86 - $124.29 USD HourlyThe Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
