is an outpatient multidisciplinary group practice with office locations in Des Moines, Ames, and Ankeny. We provide general psychotherapy and psychological testing services, medication management services, interventional psychiatric services such as Spravato and TMS, and Substance Abuse/Addiction Services in conjunction with MAT services.Why join our team?You will be instrumental in transforming mental health care within your local community!You will join a networked community of passionate professionals that are motivated to support an aligned mission of transforming mental healthcare one community at a time.Competitive Compensation + bonus potential!Flexible scheduling = Excellent work/life balanceClinical autonomy is highly valued and supported!Free clinical training & development opportunities and an annual CE stipend!A monthly office “joy & wellness” budget!Free and full support through the credentialing process!Expense reimbursement for licensure!Career growth and advancement opportunities!A generous PTO and holiday package!A fully comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, EAP, 401K w/ match, accident, hospital, critical illness, STD, LTD, FSA/DCFSA, and HSA plans available.What’s your day-to-day look like?Compare patients' progress before and after pharmacologic or behavioral interventions.Conduct neuropsychological evaluations such as assessments of intelligence, academic ability, attention, concentration, sensorimotor function, language, learning, and memory.Consult with other professionals about patients' neurological conditions.Diagnose and treat conditions involving injury to the central nervous system, such as cerebrovascular accidents, neoplasms, infectious or inflammatory diseases, degenerative diseases, head traumas, demyelinating diseases, and various forms of dementing illnesses.Diagnose and treat neural and psychological conditions in medical and surgical populations, such as patients with early dementing illness or chronic pain with a neurological basis.Diagnose and treat pediatric populations for conditions such as learning disabilities with developmental or organic bases.Diagnose and treat psychiatric populations for conditions such as somatoform disorder, dementias, and psychoses.Establish neurobehavioral baseline measures for monitoring progressive cerebral disease or recovery.Interview patients to obtain comprehensive neuropsychological histories.Participate in educational programs, in-service training, or workshops to remain current in methods and techniques.Provide education or counseling to individuals and families.Provide psychotherapy, behavior therapy, or other counseling interventions to patients with neuropsychological disorders.Read current literature, talk with colleagues, and participate in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in neuropsychology.Write or prepare detailed clinical neuropsychological reports, using data from psychological or neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct observations, or interviews.Direct and delegate responsibilities to the assisting Psychometrist.What experience and qualifications are we looking for?Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program required.A minimum of a year of licensed clinical practice experience.Must be a Licensed Psychologist in good standing in the state of Iowa.Postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology a plus, but not required.Training and/or understanding of Neuropsychological testing.Strong knowledge and understanding of brain behavior relationships.Must take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication, organization & time management skills.
