Under general supervision, delivers physical therapy (PT) services through evaluation of patient needs, goal determination and development of treatment plans in accordance with the Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act. Will demonstrate competency in treating multiple patient populations within the acute care setting.

Education

BS, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Experience

At least 1 year experienceAcute care experience required

Knowledge of physical therapy theories, practices and standardsSkill in oral and written communicationAbility to evaluate patient function, develop treatment plans and monitor patient progressAbility to set priorities and schedule patients utilizing time efficientlyAbility to demonstrate proficiency in use of standardized tests to support documentationAbility to demonstrate excellent customer service skillsAbility to manage an average caseload per productivity goals setAbility to be proficient in treating at least 2 high risk patient populationsBasic computer skills and ability to learn EMR navigation

Licensures, Certifications

Current Maryland license as a Physical TherapistHealthcare Provider (CPR Certification)

Schedule

2 weekend days/month - 8-hour shifts (total of 16 hours/month)
