SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.IBM is searching for a Systems Administrator (Senior) to support United States Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch for rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:Supports, designs, maintains and monitors internal and external networks. Implements and manages all systems, applications, security and network configurations. Resolves network performance issues and establishes a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Relies on knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. Usually reports to a supervisor or department head. This position will require privilege access and DODM 8570.01M restrictions will apply.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseMinimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 6 years' relevant professional experience; Or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years' related professional experience. Must have IAT Level I.
