Principal Software Developer
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will craft advanced analytics by integrating data from diverse cyber sources and traditional SIGINT, enhancing our enterprise's mission capabilities across various domains. You'll innovate by building prototypes and refining solutions to complex questions, working closely with customers in a collaborative, high-velocity environment. This full-stack position involves leveraging corporate data stores and cutting-edge technologies like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch. You will also be instrumental in developing the user interface and middleware connectors of our next-gen flagship applications.What you will doWork in a variety of environments to develop analytics based on data from multiple cyber sources, as well as classic SIGINT for use throughout the enterprise to support missions covering a variety of subjects.Develop prototypes, answering new questions, as well as providing better answers to existing questions.Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated fast-paced environment using leading technologies.This is a full stack position using corporate datastores as well as other technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch.Develop the UI for the application as well as the middleware connectors.Work on a team developing the next generation of flagship applications.What you need to haveBachelor's Degree plus 11+ years of experience; Master's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience; PhD and 5 to 7 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience); An Associate’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 15 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.TS/SCI clearance with polygraphComputer Science (CS) degree or related fieldWhat we'd like you to haveExperience with JavaExperience with Javascript, Vue.js, React, SpringExperience with Docker & KubernetesExperience with Elasticsearch & KibanaExperience with analytic development in a Linux environmentExperience with Pig & MapReduceExperience with Jupyter NotebooksExperience with GitlabDemonstrated experience in an Agile Development environmentAbility to work in a fast paced, team environmentAbout BigBear.aiBigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
