Join us and be a part of shaping the future of aerospace technology.Job Title : Software Test EngineerWork Schedule : Standard business hours Monday thru FridayJob Classification : ExemptPrimary Location : Onsite in Patuxent River, MD with occasional travel as neededSalary Range : $65,000 to $130,000 depending on experienceThe Ideal Candidate possesses:Experience working with computer systems using Linux and the command lineStrong computer hardware and software troubleshooting experienceFamiliarity with both DoD and DCSA cybersecurity practicesFamiliarity with DoD sensor systems including EOIR, Radar, SIGINT, and othersFamiliarity with deploying to DoD cloud platforms including IL5 environments and higherEffective communication and organizational skillsDuties will include:Installing, Configuring, and Testing Systems and Software.Reviewing software requirements and preparing testing configurationsParticipating in design reviews and providing input on requirementsConfiguring test bench systems to test software requirementsInteracting with clients to understand software requirementsAssisting with software requirements derivationDeveloping software test procedures to test software requirementsPreparing test report and reviewing findingsField testing at various locationsConsiderations and Experience include:Functional Linux ExperienceKnowledge of software development tools and techniquesFamiliarity with software configuration management and version control systemsStrong software troubleshooting and evaluation skillsKnowledge of DoD mission systems, sensors, and networksBachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or technical fieldUS Citizenship with the ability to get a DoD Secret Clearance (required)Previous Minotaur experience (strongly desired)S3I Engineering, LLC is a small business supporting the US Navy.
