Abbeville General Hospital is hiring for a Cardiopulmonary Director Position : Full-time Cardiopulmonary Director position for Cardiopulmonary Department for day shift (6:00A-2:30P).
Responsibilities include:
Administration of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures in accordance with protocols established by the hospital and under the order of a Louisiana licensed physician to arrest or correct underlying or pending pathophysiologic respiratory and related conditions.
Participate in department process improvement.
Perform patient assessments and attending assessment meetings as required.
Demonstrates commitment to honesty and integrity.

Required Experience:
Previous experience in Cardiopulmonary required.
Educational Requirements:
Vocational/Technical degree.
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis.
May be required to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients as well as walking about from patients’ rooms, as well as to and from various hospital areas.
