Growing together.In this role, you will provide comprehensive women’s health services to the membership through the provision of office services, deliveries and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures.Primary Responsibilities:Patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of healthProfessionalism, as manifested through a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient populationSystems-based practice, as manifested by actions that demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care that is of optimal valueMaintain regular office hours during the week, and take primary and back-up calls to support the practice (including weekends and holidays)Attend scheduled departmental and other mandatory meetings and participate on assigned committeesAssist with departmental recruitment effortsDemonstrate community involvement to promote department, Southwest Medical and OptumYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Board certified/Board eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyMust have completed Obstetrics/Gynecology residency programMedical license in Nevada or ability to obtain prior to start of employmentDEA license or ability to obtain prior to employmentPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual skills are a plusExcellent communication, interpersonal and basic computer skills are essentialNevada Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $318,275 to $472,626 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
