Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Restraints Design and Release Engineer. If you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading company, we want to talk with you!Job ResponsibilitiesCompensation (Range): $46.00 - 48.00 hr.Restraints Design and Release Engineer (D&R) is responsible for the design and release of restraints components and systems for new and current vehicles including: Managing project timing, releasing drawings and engineering specifications, creating specific FMA Documents, DVP&R, and quality documents, and part delivery on time for each program milestone.Design, develop, validate, and release automotive systems, subsystems, and components for the assigned programs.Monitor the development of interior trim for Ford vehicles according to company-specific benchmarks.Design parts to comply with Corporate and Local Requirements for parts validation, considering the WCR (Worldwide Customers Requirements), ES (Engineering Specifications), and SDS (Systems Design specifications) as well as the Manufacturing and Assembly requirements.Translate customer, regulatory, and product requirements into engineering targets.Monitor suppliers and analyze customer feedback through our systems.Responsible for the incorporation of new designs and engineering changes at the Assembly Plant and leading discussions with involved parties including suppliers.Support suppliers and assembly departments with current production quality and manufacturing issues.Support production part approval processes (PPAP) for mass production.Job RequirementsGood program management skills with the ability to manage a number of assignments simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team.Significant problem-solving skills previously demonstrated.CAD/CAE capable.2+ years of experience working as a design and release Engineer (Restraints experience strongly desired).Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.***POSITION IS HYBRID***BenefitsAs a Restraints Design and Release Engineer with Bartech Staffing, you will be working through an established and respected staffing organization with over 40 years of serving as a trusted partner to our client companies.
