What you'll be doing...
Our software development team builds secure end-to-end solutions. We’re searching for a talented and detail-oriented SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing team. You’ll partner with our senior DBA to ensure the smooth operation, security and performance of our mission critical databases. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from an experienced professional and contribute to the ongoing health of our vital data infrastructure.
In this role you will:
SQL Server administration including installation, configuration and maintenance
Manage database backup & recovery procedures ensuring data integrity and availability
Create & manage user accounts, define access controls & adhere to security best practices
Troubleshoot performance issues & bottlenecks and implement optimization techniques
Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and enhance database performance
Maintain understanding of SQL Server clustering technologies, including Failover Clustering, Always-On Availability Groups and data encryption
Create knowledge base of topics such as backup/restore procedures, performance tuning and security best practices
Participate in knowledge transfer and document best practices, procedures and solutions
Who you are...
Educated:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar preferred
Experienced:
6+ years SQL Server DBA experience in a production environment
Knowledgeable:
DB admin, BU/Restore, security, performance optimization, data encryption and T-SQL
Team Player:
Able to work independently and as a productive and contributing team member
Meticulous:
Analytical with problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
Service Minded:
You deliver customer support like you expect to receive it; with excellence

Salary range of $9,158 - $12,390 per month (dependent upon experience & qualifications)
