Nursing Director – Surgical Services , you will be responsible for overseeing the department’s policies, procedures, standards, and objectives. Your leadership will ensure effective daily operations of the Nursing department, supporting the hospital’s mission and goals.Responsibilities Include

Establishing and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.Directing staff and managing workflow to ensure efficient operations.Handling budgetary and fiscal responsibilities.Continuous assessment and improvement of department services and care standards.Approving timekeeping, employee evaluations, supply orders, and strategic planning for the department.Skills Required

Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.Proven leadership and hospital operational skills.Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for nursing.Proficient in independent decision-making and maintaining accuracy in responsibilities.Strong computer skills and familiarity with healthcare technology.Qualifications

Education:Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school, with a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSN.Preferred: MSN or a master’s degree in a healthcare-related field.Experience:Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment, including managerial or full-time charge nurse experience.Certifications:Required: Active and current registered nurse license in the state of practice, CPR certification.Candidate Details

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience and should be a Director-level professional with a background in hospital settings. Experience in OR is essential. While management experience is not required, a strong willingness to travel occasionally is preferred. An associate’s degree is the minimum educational requirement, although a bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.Note:
