We're looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you'll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. The world can't wait.You Have:3+ years of experience in working with C++3+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications3+ years of experience with software development and basic programming languageExperience with writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applicationsExperience with using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutionsExperience with creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environmentExperience with modeling and simulation development and generating solutionsSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics fieldNice If You Have:Experience with Simulation Models, including Radar, Sensors, or AircraftExperience with modeling and simulation frameworks, including AFSIMExperience with pre- or post-processing scripting for large data setsExperience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software productsExperience with Data Modeling ArchitectureAbility to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimizationAbility to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenanceTop Secret clearanceClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
