In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and contributing to our mission of providing excellent patient care through cutting-edge technology. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in medical imaging.Key Responsibilities:Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations with precision and care
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
Operate and maintain MRI equipment
Implement MRI safety measures to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
Assist in training new technicians and students
Stay current with advances in MRI technology and best practices
What We Are Looking For:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician
Proficiency in MRI protocols and techniques
Strong understanding of MRI safety principles
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Additional certifications in other imaging modalities
Experience with advanced MRI techniques (e.g., functional MRI, spectroscopy)
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
