Positions are available in— Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Tampa AreaDescriptionDeliver outstanding, non-operative care to patients:Assess patients virtually and in-person to provide evaluation and management of musculoskeletal conditions.Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with evidence-based protocols; in-office procedures when appropriate.Manage patients pre- and post-surgery.Collaborate with partner PCPs, Surgeons, Physical Therapists, and Health Coaches to provide care.(Ideally) Perform peripheral joint and trigger point injections.RequirementsNecessary qualifications include:Relevant education, licensure, and time in practice.Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.Board Certified (and ideally additional orthopedics/sports medicine/PMR trained) as a Physician Assistant.Practiced for at least 3 years.Philosophically aligned with our model of evidence-based musculoskeletal care.Believe that more care is not always better care and that the rush to surgery, imaging, and drugs ultimately hurts many patients.Desire to work in a collaborative care team environment with other physicians, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, and health coaches.Flexible and collaborative colleague interested in helping to refine our care model.Relevant work experience in evaluating and treating patients with a range of musculoskeletal pain conditions as well as complex medical conditions.Experience working in an orthopedic, sports medicine, hospital, or specialty care practice.Management of pre- and post-operative cases.Utilization of new clinical technology at the point of care including telehealth solutions.Travel regionally as required:Travel to assigned counties for the purpose of patient care in clinic settings.Have a valid Florida license.Have valid vehicle insurance coverage.Have reliable transportation.Bilingual in English and Spanish (completely fluent)
