This individual will primarily be focusing on accurately reviewing Federal and state tax returns and managing staff. We are looking for a well-versed individual who exhibits excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills.Responsibilities

Review partnership tax returns, S corporations and high net-worth individual tax returns with a focus on the real estate industryManage and coordinate tax compliance, consulting engagements, and various related projectsPerform research and consult on technical tax mattersKeep current on tax issues, new legislation, and trends to ensure proactive client serviceBuild relationships and interact with clients to provide exceptional planning and consulting expertise while also supporting Partners with execution and development of servicesSupervise, train, and develop staff while managing engagement workflow and overall team resourcesImprove processes by developing or implementing best practicesMinimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field requiredCPA License Required5+ years of progressive tax compliance and consulting experience in public accountingExperience with real estate specific tax topics including advanced knowledge of partnership taxation, 1031 exchanges, real estate professional rules and depreciation methods for real estate preferredExcellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returnsKnowledge with QuickBooks preferableExperience supervising, managing teams, and mentoring staffOutstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skillsPossess and demonstrate strong understanding and alignment with our firm’s core values of Honesty and Candor, Continual Learning, Innovation, Mentorship, Leadership, Team Player and Client Committed.Why us?

Individual salaries are determined through multiple factors permitted by law including but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certification, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
