The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care including assessments, care plan, education, and evaluation for assigned patients. RN MDS/DSD Coordinator Acute Rehab/TCU:Written and verbal communications.Basic organization.Proficient with computer.Demonstrated leadership abilities.Patient assessment.Clinical education related to specialty.Principles of patient/family teaching.RN PPS Coordinator Acute Rehab/TCU:Demonstrated leadership ability.Written and verbal communication skills, negotiation and confrontation skills.Computer skills.Organizational, prioritization, to include time management skills.Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and colleagues.Knowledge of the IRF-PAI process and Function Independent Modifiers (FIM) system.Creative, motivated, goal oriented and able to complete assignments independently.Cardiology:Strong verbal, written and computer skills.Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.Adaptability.Principles of patient/family teaching.Knowledge and experience with administering IV and PO drugs and their possible adverse reactions.Knowledge of diagnostic test and their preparations.Knowledge in the legal aspects of nursing.Knowledge and demonstrated skill using special equipment such as monitors, oxygen equipment, SPO2 monitors, EKG machines, defibrillators, etc.Honest, dependable, conscientious.Excellent communication skills.Required Experience

RN MDS/DSD Coordinator Acute Rehab/TCU:Current California RN license.BSN degree required.Evidence of continuing education.Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education.Prior experience in long term care setting.Knowledge of Title XXII, OBRA, MDS and Medicare regulations.Knowledge/experience in adult teaching methods.Current Director of Staff Development certification (DSD).Current Basic Life Support Card.Address:12401 Washington Blvd.Salary:48.50-78.56FLSA Status:Non-Exempt
