Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement Java stack web-based applications. Develop and deploy RESTful web services, data migration and batch processing scripts. Adhere to all organizational and IT policies and processes for SDLC and project management. Collaborate to set up end-to-end infrastructure and necessary integrations for new applications. Establish Disaster Recovery Plan and Configurations for new applications, ensuring business continuity in the event of unforeseen disasters. Implement last-mile security setup for applications. Collaborate with the DevOps Teams to set up CI/CD DevOps pipeline and TDD for applications. Perform code reviews and provide support and mentor offshore development teams, facilitating continuous process improvements within the team. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project schedules are properly estimated. Opportunity allows for partial work from home as long as the employee resides in the same Metropolitan Statistical Area, where the job is offered (as defined by the Bureau of Labor Statistics).Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a directly related field. Education, experience, or academic training must include: structure analysis and technical design techniques, database, and file access methods; working with one or more programming languages and development tools, including Java (Core & Advanced), Frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, ORM, or MyBatis), and REST/JSON/OpenAPI; Build Packaging Tools (Apache Maven), Testing (Junit, SoapUI, or Postman), Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or Cloud native), Application Servers (Tomcat or JBoss); DevOps Pipeline (TDD, GitHub, Jenkins CI/CD, Monitoring Tools); Methodologies: Software Design Patterns, Agile, or Waterfall.Compensation Pay Disclosure:Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
