You will serve as the Information Security Manager (ISSM) responsible for interpreting and applying government customer policies.Work ModelThis position is located in Crystal City. It is a hybrid work model contingent upon onsite operations.What You'll Be DoingPerform as the information assurance (IA) subject matter expertInterpret and apply policies regarding data handling, computers, and networks in collaboration with internal and National Security Space customersCoordinate Aerospace and customer secure network activities with all stakeholders throughout implementation, authorization, operation, maintenance, and disestablishment of these classified information systemsEstablish, implement, maintain, and monitor the overall security compliance posture of classified information systems under the Risk Management FrameworkAttain and maintain classified systems Assessment & Authorizations to Operate (ATO's)Utilize IC RMF tools such as SNOW, XACTA, SCAP and others to maintain SCI level assets if appropriateLead the classified incident handling process and oversee the reporting and investigation of information system security related incidentsFacilitate data transfers for users between systems of differing classification levelsWhat You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma with five or more years of experience, or associate degree with three or more years of experienceDoD 8570/88140 IAM level II certificationExperience with the RMF process, NIST 800-53, DAAPM, NISPOM, JSIG or related IA doctrineIn-depth knowledge of computer operating systemsProvide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directivesThis position requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.How You Can Stand OutIt would be impressive if you have one or more of these:Master's or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fieldCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)Previous Special Access Program (SAP) experienceHave successfully taken a strong portfolio of systems through the complete RMF processExperience with providing incident response by investigating and reporting classified messaging incidentsDoD 8570/88140 IAM level III certificationExcellent project management skillsLeadership CompetenciesOur leadership philosophy is simple: every employee, regardless of level and role, can demonstrate leadership.
