DHL Global Forwarding ("DGF") manages the flow of goods and information across a customer's global supply chain utilizing air/ocean/ground transportation, customs brokerage services, and dedicated warehousing/distribution centers. We are part of Deutsche Post DHL, the world's leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
Overall Job Purpose:This OFR Analyst role will be responsible for providing timely and accurate maintenance of Accounts Receivables subsequent to original invoicing. The selected candidate will be in charge of researching, validating and processing requests for additional supporting documents, adjustments, corrections and refunds. S/he will also be responsible for identifying trends and analyzing root causes of AR issues and coordinate resolution with OFR departments.
Qualifications:
Good knowledge of Forwarding business, DGF OFR product, both Exports and Imports
Advanced knowledge of various systems such as CW1/GCCS/EDM
Good telephone and e-mail skills
Strong negotiation and administrative skills
Very detail-oriented with an ability to positively influence others across multiple groups
An ability to work independently relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish daily deliverables
Results-driven
Performs all of the standard and all of the specialized and most complex aspects of the function
Experience in Finance and Accounting preferred
Generally 5 years of experience in related area of responsibility
Main Tasks:
Understand and work on the weekly GCCS Report by meeting our company's KPIs
Understand and provide invoices and supporting documents to Collections/Customers
Understand and follow customers SOPs and COPs
Research and analyze customer disputes and take action accordingly
Participate in customer calls to address outstanding issues
Attend weekly calls with Collections
Complete training as required
Initiate and/or assist in process improvements
Work proactively with station management for improved Accounts Receivables
