You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create truly innovative solutions built on AWS.This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience1+ years of software development tools and methodologies3+ years working with PythonTechnical degree or equivalent experienceCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with PolygraphPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networkingExperience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skillsProfessional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWSExperience working within software development or Internet-related industriesExperience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloudExperience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware and storageUnderstanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA and FedRAMP.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
