Cox Communications is searching for a Senior Network Planning Engineer who will be responsible for analyzing and modeling needs for Cox Critical Facility capacity for Integrated Network Planning organization. This role will be responsible for the following:Critical Facility:Conduct basic equipment evaluation and forecast Power, HVAC and Space utilization across the enterprise facilitiesAssist with Critical Facility equipment gathering process and support POI process to ensure smooth deployment preparationBecome subject matter expert in CFGM (Critical Facility Growth Model)Lead and host necessary planning activities to support INP planning initiativesData management across multiple toolsMaintain CFGM DBSupport tactical plans for CFThis position will employ or engage with the following technologies: Various NMS (Network Management Software) tools and other application platforms such as Excel, FIRM, POInt, Oracle Database, Granite, Hadoop, R, SAS, Alteryx, and SQL. Must understand network infrastructure such as DOCSIS, broadband services, RF multi-gigabit optical ethernet. Understands facility capability to ensure capacity and efficiency of the planned designsUnderstand current critical facility specifications to build different models and growth projectionsEvaluate and plan optimal capacity based on equipment requirementsGather data required to calculate CFGMWorks with corporate and regional engineers to operationalize and document plansAssist to interface with boundary partners related models and data and provide growth trendsIdentifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedures or cross-functional methodsUtilizes applications for measuring, analyzing, modeling and forecasting near term capacity needs. Build financial impact and related performance. Application engagement in Hadoop, R, Alteryx, SAS, and SQL.Develops reports and analysis to verify data and process qualityRelated Tasks:

Assist in code development to automate reports and templateProvide statistical analyses to assist leadership to actionable insightsWith guidance, presents data and provides recommendations to department leadershipProvide input to leadership on performance issues and operational process improvementsUses and may program statistical analysis softwareMinimum:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 4 years' experience as a technical engineer in the Wireless Communications Industry. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years' experience in a related field.Experience utilizing communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to work with business leaders for gathering requirements to build data modelsExperience in researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative dataExperience working with large data sets, analysis and methodsExperience developing automated reportingExperience using Microsoft Office Suite applications in a work setting with strong knowledge in ExcelExperience in digital cable systemsPreferred:

Knowledge in process developmentR/SAS/Alteryx and SQL or similar analytical database and coding skillsExperience debugging analytical code and processesKnowledge in telecommunication but not requiredUSD 88,300.00 - 147,100.00 per yearCompensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Benefits:
