The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the deployment of IT equipment, which may include hardware, software, and networking components. This involves not only coordinating the logistical aspects of deployment but also ensuring that the deployment aligns with project objectives, budget constraints, and timeline requirements.The Deployment Project Manager shall possess the following capabilities:
Technical Expertise:
A strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including familiarity with various types of equipment, their functionalities, compatibility considerations, and best practices for deployment and configuration.Resource Allocation and Management:
Effectively allocate resources to support the deployment process while optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.Risk Management:
Assess risks proactively, implement mitigation strategies, and allocate resources to address potential contingencies.Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
Ensure compliance with regulations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.Documentation and Reporting:
Oversee the creation of comprehensive documentation and establish processes for ongoing maintenance and updates.Integration with Enterprise IT Systems:
Understand how the deployment of IT equipment fits into the broader IT infrastructure of the organization.Qualifications:
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting for projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.A Bachelor's degree is required.Four (4) years of additional project management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with at least one of the four years with the Federal Government may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.One (1) year of Enterprise IT systems and project experience.Certifications Required:
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.About Us
