We're seeking a Technical Support Engineer to administer and support virtualized computing platforms, small to medium sized Windows domain environments, and their physically connected clients throughout all system life-cycle phases (concept to decommission).Responsibilities:Participate in the planning, design, test, integration, and deployment of technical solutions.Interface with technical support team and system end-users to capture system requirements.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various production systems and related system test environments.Mid-level to advanced technical support for multiple customer sponsored systems.Facilitate technical support training events with system end-users.Use of issue tracking system to facilitate managing tasks and documenting resolutions.Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.7+ years direct experience performing network design, integration, test, operations, training, and maintenance activities in critical, distributed computing environments.Knowledge of data storage technologies (SAN/NAS).Build and configuration of physical and virtual servers.Experience deploying and managing workstations and servers within distributed virtual environments that include both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating system platforms.Experience deploying and managing virtualization tools, such as VMware Sphere.Network switch administration and configuration.Test, Troubleshooting and Optimization of distributed computing environments.Proficiency in Microsoft productivity software, such as Office, Visio, etc.Strong technical writing skills in creating/editing design documents, test plans, drawing packages, training packages, SOPs, defect reports, how-to instructions, etc.Bonus Points:SharePoint server build, configuration and site administration.Administering and using issue tracking systems.Deploying, operating and maintaining system health monitoring systems.Network security, information assurance, and auditing.Defining, capturing system requirements.System configuration management.Implementing and overseeing system back-up solutions.VOIP server/handset build, configuration and site administration.Why Join REDLattice:Work on innovative technology at the intersection of cybersecurity and national security.Join a dynamic team of experts dedicated to making a real impact in the world.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Be part of a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.If you are seeking a dynamic, tiered-support team chartered with maintaining multiple critical production systems, apply now to join the REDLattice team as a Technical Support Engineer.REDLattice Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
