We are seeking an Application Engineer that will expand data strategy to ensure new and existing pipelines are implemented, maintained, and documented. Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and test engineers in a cross-functional team to ensure data availability for the organization and downstream consumers. Develop scalable strategies to include best practices, guidelines, and governance of data systems. Develop and implement data integrations for the organizations’ products. Troubleshoot issues with data integrations. Write and maintain documentation for data integration processes and workflows.Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.Required skills:

Strong understanding of NiFi infrastructure, configuration, processors and operation and maintenanceExperience configuring, operating and monitoring data pipelines (ETL) and associated infrastructureStrong knowledge and experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS) and LinuxAbility to configure and maintain distributed systems in a cross-functional teamDesired skills:

Database experience, understanding of application containerizationPython, Java and JavaScript programming experienceFamiliar with Cloud DevelopmentExperience with streaming data services (Kafka)Benefits
