The Candidates shall design, create, and deploy legacy and new applications and systems in support of the Intelligence Community. The Candidates shall also perform maintenance of legacy and new applications and systems. The Candidates will work closely with customers to define requirements, implement business logic and refine mission needs pertaining to software or hardware development.
• Plan, test, install and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating (Windows/UNIX) systems on organization computer systems.• Plan, test, install and integrate third-party software components (VMWare), and subsystems.• Assist higher level software system specialists in managing software life cycles.• Manage software life cycles.• Research and resolve routine systems software problems, working with higher-level specialists.• Research and resolve complex systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
Required SkillsClearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope PolygraphSkill Level(s): ExpertThe Candidate shall possess and provide the following required skills and demonstrated experience:• Windows System Administration to include: Windows Server 2012 R2 or later and Windows 10.• Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SWUS, Group policy and Windows deployment server.• Microsoft SQL server or later; Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, YAML, XML, and BitLocker).• network administration (Firewalls, routers, and switches).• backup and antivirus deployments (McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator or equivalent; System Center Data Protection Manager or equivalent.Highly Desired SkillsOther skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:• working with Mission Specific applications and networks such as RH, MDSx, EMS, PRIVY and OUS Catalog databases.• holding secondary Mission specific CI scrub.• managing software life cycles.
