Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities.The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements.Resolve high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and system processes.Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish goals.Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws.Requirements:6-10 years overall experience in Java or Enterprise Apps Development.3+ years of experience in financial services preferred.7+ years of experience in large scale Apps development as a Full Stack developer.Good working knowledge of source code control tools and technologies.Strong fundamentals of OOPS, Data Structures, and Algorithms.Strong experience developing integrated solutions with non-functional requirements.Ability to write "Clean code" using Core Java, JEE, Collections, Multithreading.Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST/SOAP protocols.Fundamental database concepts and experience with relational databases or NoSQL platforms.Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.Good understanding of Unit testing and test coverage.Ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.Understanding of cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.Usage of Swagger/Open API specification to define and document APIs.Good understanding of Standard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.Strong knowledge with testing frameworks like JUNIT, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha.Experience in performance tuning of applications and analyzing issues.Preferences:Experience in development of scalable high performance systems utilizing big data and machine learning techniques.Experience in High-Speed Messaging platforms such as KAFKA.Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and tools.Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.Job Family Group:
