Designing, configuring, and deploying middleware solutionsMonitoring and maintaining middleware componentsCollaborating with development teams to implement middleware changesInvestigating and troubleshooting middleware-related issuesPerforming middleware upgrades and patchesImplementing security measures for middleware systemsDocumenting configuration and changes to middleware systemsParticipating in on-call support and incident resolutionConducting performance tuning and optimization of middleware infrastructureAssessing and recommending new middleware technologiesRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field3+ years of experience in middleware administration and engineeringStrong understanding of middleware technologies such as JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogicProficiency in Java programming and scripting languagesExperience with Linux/Unix operating systemsKnowledge of networking and security concepts related to middlewareAbility to analyze and troubleshoot complex middleware issuesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsUnderstanding of ITIL framework and best practicesRelevant certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator or Oracle WebLogic CertificationReviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
