As a Senior Camera Image Tuning Engineer, you will be responsible for tuning the camera picture quality for various scenes. This will require good knowledge of the image sensor, video pipe, codecs, and processing blocks, along with a good understanding of picture quality and picture artifacts.Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
B-Tech/BE/M-Tech/ME/PhD in Electronics and Communication7 to 12 years of relevant experience in camerasStrong C/C++ programming is a mustKnowledge on camera fundamentals, image processing, optics, and color sciencePrior experience in Camera Image Tuning including various video pipe blocks such as AE, AWB, CCM, Black Level Calibration, HDR, LDC, Gamma Correction, Day and Night mode tuning with/without IR illuminationExperience in image quality analysis and troubleshootingFamiliar with image sensor technologies, digital cameras, optics, camera ISP pipeline algorithms, and deep understanding of IQ metrics/evaluation methods and their trade-offs with respect to different ISP blocksExpertise in image tuning tools such as XRite, Macbeth Resolution, and ColorUnderstand various nuances and fine variations in color tone, saturation, and luminanceExpertise in the usage of Judge Light Box for camera image tuning and ImatestExpertise in testing image quality under different scenarios and lighting conditionsEnhance and maintain the ISP labExperience in Embedded Multimedia streaming application development (Linux platform preferred)Knowledge in one or more of the following: Camera driver development, Audio-Video codecs specifically H264/H265, Network protocols is a bonusExcellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment utilizing collaboration skillsPassion for photography is a bonusBenefits
