Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a key business partner within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of income statements, GAAP, and software capitalization. Additionally, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience partnering with IT management teams would be a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Budgeting & Reporting : Lead the budgeting process, including allocations and monthly variance analysis.Month-End Close : Manage the month-end close process by preparing accruals and re-class journal entries for both operational and capital expenditures.Variance Analysis : Evaluate monthly actuals against forecasts, budgets, and prior year results, identifying key drivers of variances.GAAP Compliance : Ensure compliance with GAAP, particularly in relation to cloud-computing arrangements.Planning & Forecasting : Support the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and long-term planning efforts.Benchmark Analysis : Assist in conducting annual benchmark analysis for global IT spending.Business Unit Allocations : Contribute to the preparation of business unit allocations.Business Case Support : Collaborate on business case development, providing analysis and reporting on operating and capital expenses.Financial Reporting : Generate monthly reports for P&L reviews and support post-project business case analysis to confirm achievement of business benefits.Ad-Hoc Reporting : Create ad-hoc financial reports and models to support management in making informed, data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited institution.Experience :
Senior level corporate finance or financial planning & analysis experience is required.Additional experience partnering with IT leadership is preferred.
Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Peoplesoft, TM1/Planning & Analytics, and Oracle BI is highly desirable.Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to accuracy and detail is essential.
