The Strategic Partner Manager will create and manage relationships with Data Center Installation Partners and critical Supply Chain Partners that enable the completion of customer installations within our Data Centers. The Strategic Partner Manager will align Partner capability and performance with cross functional team members operationally accountable for product and services strategy, customer solution engineering and design, and operational delivery.Responsibilities:Material forecastingPrice negotiation related to material and laborProcess and policy design and negotiationConducting recurring partner meetings to manage relationships (weekly, monthly, quarterly)Performance management and contract compliance monitoring and continuous improvementAlignment of DataBank product and services strategy with Partner business operationsAdminister RFPs as needed (Assess market conditions, create RFP content, distribute to marketplace, manage responses, analyze responses, make recommendations based on business case fundamentals)Day to day escalation management/leadership as requiredCost assurance - tracking partner expense vs. agreed to rates and budgetsQualifications and Skills:Operational Fundamentals (Ability to drive performance, govern process compliance, hold partners accountable, develop and analyze KPIs, and achieve results)Relationship management and developmentCross functional collaboration and teamworkBusiness Acumen (application of logic in real world scenarios, working understanding of operating model & industry, ability to interact at multiple levels of an organization)Material forecasting and planningProcurement/supply chain fundamentalsContract negotiation skills, including SLA development and managementStrong communication skills, both written and verbalOwner mentality (willing to commit, take responsibility, then be accountable for result)Partner or vendor management experienceAbility to develop process and systems-based solutions to increase efficiency and performance
