Founded in 1975, CAA is headquartered in Los Angeles, and has offices in New York, Nashville, Memphis, Chicago, Miami, London, Munich, Geneva, Stockholm, Shanghai, and Beijing, among other locations globally.The RoleThe Sr. Director, Treasury is an integral member of CAA’s Treasury and Risk Management Team and will oversee corporate finance activities like FCF forecasting, net interest expense forecasting, treasury budgeting and WACC modeling. This position will lead debt capital markets including compliance with credit agreement, strategy and execution for addressing debt maturities, financing for acquisitions and proactive management of company’s capital structure as well as creating and maintaining the company’s foreign exchange program. Reporting to the Treasurer, this position requires strong analytical skills, strong attention to detail and critical thinking. The Sr. Director of Treasury will collaborate with internal stakeholders (tax, legal, accounting, M&A) and external partners (including relationship banks, rating agencies, treasury service providers) across a variety of corporate treasury activities. The Sr. Director of Treasury will also support and provide back up for treasury operations area. This position will also provide support for capital allocation, board materials, lender materials, lender relations, WACC analysis and ad hoc analysis related to capital structure.ResponsibilitiesDeep knowledge of and experience with credit agreements and debt capital market dealsOwnership of debt covenant compliance packageAbility to design and deploy systems and processes to streamline efficienciesManage a team of 2: Treasury Manager and a Senior Treasury AnalystStrategic management of upcoming debt maturitiesOversee debt administration activities including notices, interest payments, interest expense accrual reports, loan holder analysis and record keepingPrepare board materials and related analysis with high level of attention to detail and strategic analysisAssist Treasurer with capital structure strategy, planning and execution across all global subsidiariesManage lender relationsCreate and maintain net interest expense and excess cash flow forecast and actualsPrepare monthly interest accruals and debt-related feesCollaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis team on treasury related assumptions for budget and LRPProduce internal reports for debt activity, and schedules for annual compliancePerform ad hoc analysis as needed for various treasury projects and initiativesManage company’s foreign exchange risk management program and policiesAssist with treasury operations as neededDevelop and maintain policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain working capital and free cash flow forecastPartner with Director of Treasury Operations on business continuity managementQualifications12+ or more years of experience in corporate treasury; with at least 3 years leadershipExtensive debt capital markets experience across multiple deals on corporate / bank side is plusBS/BA degree in finance or related areaExperience with leading capital market transactionsSolid financial modeling skillsMicrosoft PowerPoint skills to develop strong treasury decksSelf-starterStrong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Critical thinkingPreferred Qualifications:Mix of large global enterprise and start up experienceMS Finance or MBACFACompensationThe annual base salary for this position is in the range of $188,000 - $258,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
