Description
Leidos is looking for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes for multiple projects and teams on the Task Order. The successful candidate will help configure the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to the Task Order's needs, standardizing and documenting practices to ensure valued delivery to the customer.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and communicate calendars for program increments (PI)
  • Facilitate PI planning readiness by bringing together the vision, roadmap and backlogs through pre and post PI planning events
  • Lead and facilitate PI planning events
  • Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities
  • Help manage risks and dependencies
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Task Order Management, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer and team interactions


Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience scaling agile practices and aligning development teams
  • Develops and proposes new ideas regarding processes and strategy
  • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Agile Development knowledge and experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail
  • Capacity to work well in groups and the ability to lead a team
  • Strong briefing skills and experience presenting to senior customer management
  • Requires BS degree and 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 to 13 years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications :
  • SAFe Agile Certification
  • 2+ years experience as a Scrum Master
  • Certified Product Owner
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Understanding of AWS/Cloud technologies
  • Proven experience managing multiple baselines across multiple environments
  • Experience with collaboration tools including Jira/Confluence
  • Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
