About the Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the North America Content at S4 Capital. This newly established role, preferably based in New York, will report directly to the CFO of North America Content Practice. As the Sr. Director/ FP&A, you will drive the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring that the business has the necessary data and insights to achieve its ambitious growth targets. Your responsibilities will include supporting investment and strategic decisions, developing forecasting tools, and setting clear, measurable targets.

This role is a New York City (32 Old Slip #705. New York, NY 10005.), hybrid role!
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a cutting-edge financial planning function, ensuring the financial ambition is grounded in solid, and well understood, commercials
  • Business partner that will work closely with senior stakeholders (including Content CFO, CEO, Chief Client Officers and COO) to ensure the Content practice provides accurate and timely forecasts, and hits all strategic milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including the Content CFO, CEO, Chief Client Officers, and COO, to provide accurate, timely forecasts and meet strategic objectives.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights and operational plans to support key stakeholders in advancing the business.
  • Create and enhance tools for customer and insights reporting, as well as for net revenue and cost reporting, leveraging Salesforce.
  • Development of tools for customer / insights reporting, and Salesforce, for net revenue and related cost reporting.
  • Lead on the development of a finance business partnering approach with stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead on the preparation of materials for the Content Exec team, and other governance meetings as appropriate
About You
  • Minimum 8+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven track record of influencing strategic business decisions and driving significant performance improvements.
  • Extensive experience in building and leading FP&A teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the interplay between key financial and non-financial business drivers.
  • Demonstrated ability to add value and lead decision-making in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience managing business performance across multiple regions and supporting international expansion.
  • A qualified accountant is preferred but not required.
  • Expertise in developing tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Proven experience leading teams in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Skilled in creating structure and maintaining focus amidst ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent financial acumen, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and sound judgment.

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range$170,000-$190,000 USD
