The group has over 7 locations in Northern California with plans to open 2 new locations in 2018. They provide a modern evidence-based medicine approach to mental health care. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist to gain experience working in a modern outpatient practice, with the unique ability to train under thought leaders in TMS therapy. Physicians provide patients with general Psychiatric medication management services, psychotherapy as well as TMS therapy. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive, thriving medical practice that is a leader in providing TMS therapy to patients with treatment-resistant depression. TMS neuromodulation and certification preferred, but will provide training leading to certification See 12 patient / day 1 hour intake 20 minute follow up Can work 4 days / week 36 hours is full time EMR is NextGen Role & Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, as well as psychiatric and other relevant health histories Develop treatment plans utilizing therapies based on evidence-based standards of care Monitor and continuously improve patient outcomes. Provide timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters utilizing EMR Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes Participate in a minimum of ten hours per year of continuing education in the field of TMS therapy Required Skills / Competencies Strong interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Evidence-based psychiatr
